A 'country girl' by birth; Helen had the classic Austrlain bush upbringing with parents who whewer both graziers and agricultural machinery suppliers. Being shipped off to boarding schall as a very young girl, Helen graduated from school to follow a diverse range of studies with formal readings in theology, counselling and education. However, Helen beleives her greatest learning base for being an IRIS consultant is the fact she has rasied three happy, healthy and successful adult boys.

Based in Toowoomba on the top of the Darling Downs in Queensland Helen brings to the consulting relationship a true understanding of the challenges businesses face in providing support and development services for team members staffing rural and remote operations. It is this commitment to the services of the country that has meant Helen has received many awards and acknowledgements for her work in expanding services, particularly in community development, health care and education, throughout country Queensland and the far north-west of Australia.

Throughout her career Helen has worn many hats performing the roles of teacher, counsellor, coach, business manager, grazier and mother. She applies the insights she gained through these roles in her work as a consultant often bringing about simple but highly effective change to how companies do what they do. Her straight talking elegance means she has received many fans amongst the clients and staff of IRIS over the years.

Helen currently dreams of being retired but has too strong of a fan base to let her do this fully, so she now shares her time split between being an active committee member of many community projects, a consultant and proud grandmother of her “greatest little treasures!”

Lewis is a CPA by training and brings to the team a commitment and enthusiasm for effective business manaement through his studies in finance and his experiences as senior tax consultant in public practice in Sydney Australia.

Outside of IRIS he is currently acting as a senior tax and finance consultant and advisor for number of public practices and is the Principal of Visions Synergy Associates.

Before opening his own public practice, Lewis was working in several Hong Kong & China based companies. Prior to making Sydney is home base he was the head of the finance division for the Asia Pacific region based in Hong Kong, as Financial Controller for Florsheim Pacific (a multinational shoe company with head office based in the US).

In additional his knowledge & expertises of the Australian and inernational taxation systems, he has also had substantial experience and exposures to both Hong Kong & China business markets and brings an interesting base of training to IRIS consulting.

Toowoomba based Tom closely monitors developments in business for our team and regularly offers advice to clients as they move forward in different ways.

Tom’s wealth of knowledge comes from more then 40 years as an accountant. During this time he has held many roles and board positions. His career is dominated by his role as the Principal of the second largest accounting practice in Queensland for many years.

He brings to the team expertise in business tax systems, auditing and finance; with a wealth of experience as a mentor, coach and trainer to many in the financial services sector throughout Asia, Africa, the Pacific and Australia.

Matt brings to the team a background in Information Technology and has held many high security postions in programming for a number of government and private sector bodies.

Matt has many hours of training and support under his belt within the IT sector.
