IRIS consulting is a specialised human resource leadership and development consultancy that provides forefront training in organisational development and team focus skills.

IRIS consulting facilitates a series of cultural change management strategies that are designed to give participants a methodology and process to analyse their actions so that they are more empowered to take responsibility for their outcomes.

IRIS consulting works from a sub-contracting consulting pracititoner bases and currently has a number of associate opportunities for skilled trainers, coaches and counsellors of various disciplines.

An associate 'license' with IRIS consulting is valid for three years and entitles you to deliver our eight-step RESILIENCE FUNDAMENTALS program and our ten-step RESILIENCE MASTERY program (as well as other additional programs as agreed). Also you have the opportunity to become a licensed facilitator of the IRIS consulting RESILIENCE COACHING models.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

As an associate you become a member of Club IRIS which has a number of benefits associated with the work of IRIS consulting ranging from continuous professional development opportunities through to peer support from other practitioners; and discounts at various places around the world. But most of all the advantage of being a member of Club IRIS is that it is from this pool of skilled consultants we call upon to deliver our programs for our clients across Australia, New Zealand and Asia mostly; but the odd trip into North America and Europe (with a growing interest from Brazil) presents itself from time-to-time!

In this role you will be a sub-contracting consultant to IRIS consulting to deliver and meet the expectations of the client; and we will for each assignment enter into a negotiated agreement around rates and expectations at the time. It is important to note that rates of pay vary from contract to contract but typically we work on a daily rate reflective of industry standards for individual experience and qualifications.

CAN I USE YOUR MATERIAL AND DO MY OWN THING?

YES! In fact we encourage it...

We are more then happy for assocaites to deliver our training or coaching model to their existing client base or new contracts they secure while holding an IRIS consulting licence (please note a license is valid for three years).

Our only stipulations and conditions on this are that you must at all times give credit to the material when printing worksheets and the like; and when delivering a full program it is a requirement that you purchase the manuals from our suppliers - which comes with the resilience assessments required to be undertaken to get the best out of our course (this stipulation comes clearer when you are exposed to our training model).

This is another advantage of Club IRIS - you are most welcome to network with other agents to co-deliver programs to clients or to arrange for a public course in your area.

WHY ONLY THREE YEARS?

We are constantly updating our programs and monitoring the continuous research into the area of resilience, mental hardship training, emotional intelligence coaching, happiness psychology and all the other fields relevant to our models of training. It is because of this we would argue that within three years your skills set and knowledge around the influences of our work need to be renewed and hence the best way to ensure IRIS consultants are up-to-date to meet our clients expectations is to ask agents to retrain and renew their agency license every three years.

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITE FOR TRAINING?

Yes and no.

Yes it is a requirement that you have undertaken a RESILIENCE FUNDAMENTALS program before attending our licensing program. The reason for this is simple, we believe for you to be able to decide this is a model of work you would like to train or coach in it is best that you first experience the program. If when booking your place in the training of our licensing program and you can present a valid invoice for our RESILIENCE FUNDAMENTALS course you will receive a 50% refund on the cost of that particular course.

The no to this question is we do not insist that an IRIS consultant must have a psychology, social work, counselling or other qualification; however, we do suggest professionals from such backgrounds will benefit the most from our license. Neither do we ask that you hold a trainers qualification, but encourage you to do so for insurance and other purposes. For those interested in this we hold a sister relationship with Nexus College who deliver a Cert. IV in Training and Development; so can arrange for you to receive such a qualification at an agreed rate.

HOW DOES THE AGENT TRAINING WORK?

The agent training is a five-day intensive residential program and yes we encourage that you do spend the night at the venue as training can finish late and start early! We also do have homework activities that require you to work with other trainees; hence it is easier on all parties involved. We faciilitate three TTT programs a year so please contact us to know when the next event is happening.

SO WHAT IS MY FINANCIAL INVESTMENT?

Your training and licensing fee combined is a total investment of AUD$5,500. This includes all training materials, manuals, books and three years memerbship to Club IRIS- travel and accommodation for the five days residential program is seperate, however, we can support you in making arrangements through our network of travel consultants and the hosting venue typically provide discounted rack rates.

ARE THERE ON-GOING FEES?

The on-going fees and charges are the per head cost to undertake a resilience assessment and manual print for a client. The costs of a participants pack do increase from time-to-time due to the increasing costs involved with printing and postage. Current rates for an assessment and manual per person can be shared upon request. Manuals are printed on an on-demand basis and are tailored to suit your client at the time with relevant case studies and can be co-branded with the IRIS consulting logo and your company’s logo.

ARE THERE ANY EXPECTATIONS OF ORDERS?

No. IRIS consulting places no expectations on associates to order any set number of manuals in any one year.

ARE THERE ANY GUARANTEES OF TRAINING HOURS?

No. IRIS consulting gives no guarantee to licensees as to how many hours of training may be offered to them in a year – we offer our work on a case-by-case contract-by-contract basis.
